ABSTRACT
Over the last two years, the COVID-19 pandemic has urged healthcare industries to look into major advancements in the field of vaccines and parenteral drug administration routes, thus spurring up new innovations in the pre-filled syringe and fill/finish product operations. Traditionally, prefilled or prefillable syringes were used for vaccine and anticoagulant administrations, however, they have now garnered importance in anti-thrombotic and biotechnology drugs too.
