ABSTRACT
Geriatric care is a multidisciplinary approach to the care of older adults, with a focus on identifying and managing health conditions and preventing complications. Advances in geriatric healthcare are essential due to the growing aging population and the specific health challenges they face. Traditional healthcare models are often inadequate to meet these needs, necessitating a shift towards modern innovations in aging care. Advancements in genomics and personalized medicine allow for more tailored treatments based on individual genetic profiles and health conditions, improving treatment efficacy and minimizing side effects. Integrated care models that coordinate services across different healthcare providers can enhance the management of chronic conditions and improve the overall quality of care for older adults.
